How to put it up
1. Stick the plate: wipe the wall clean and dry, peel the liner off the adhesive pad and press the wall plate on firmly for 30 seconds.
2. Add batteries: put 3 AA batteries in the back of the lamp (not included).
3. Click it on: hang the lamp on the plate. To change batteries or move it, lift it straight off.
4. Use the remote: on/off, three brightness buttons for 9 steps, and a timer that switches it off after 30, 60 or 120 minutes.

Instead of a wire in the wall, three AA batteries sit inside the lamp, so there’s nothing to connect and no cord hanging down. The wall plate goes up with a peel-and-stick pad, and the lamp simply hangs on it and lifts off again. From bed, the remote switches it on and off, takes it through nine brightness steps from a soft glow to reading light, and turns it off for you after 30, 60 or 120 minutes. Swivel the arm and the light points down for reading, or up for a soft glow on the wall.

FAQ
Do I need an electrician?
No. KVALLA has no wire and no plug. It runs on 3 AA batteries inside the lamp, and the wall plate goes up with the included peel-and-stick pad.
Will it damage my walls? I rent.
There’s no drilling and no wiring. The plate holds with an adhesive pad; on painted walls, peel a pad off slowly and straight down when you move out.
Are batteries included?
No. It takes 3 AA batteries.
How bright is it?
About 100 lumens of warm white light: a soft, cosy glow on the lowest steps and enough light to read by on the highest. It’s accent light for the bed, a mirror or a hallway, not a replacement for a ceiling light.
How does the timer work?
Press 30, 60 or 120 on the remote and the lamp switches itself off after that many minutes, so you can fall asleep without getting up.
Can one remote control two lamps?
Each lamp comes with its own remote, so you can set each one the way you like it.
Can it point up?
Yes. The arm swivels 180°, so the shade can hang down for reading light or point up for a soft glow on the wall.
Matte Black or Chrome?
